High Risk Protection School

 The SPGI High-Risk Protection Course is the first of it’s kind in Lebanon.  This course is a comprehensive 38 day course that has been modelled off of various training programs which include the (40) hour training program that was designed by the california protection firm Solutions Group International .The 38 day course is designed to prepare Lebanese operators for placement on a protection detail both in Lebanon and the Middle East.

The Tactics and techniques taught during this course are combined with realistic training scenarios and  classroom work to test the operators ability as an individual, a team-member, and as a team-leader working on a protective detail. This course was created to address the needs of better trained protection specialists in Lebanon.

  • Protective Operations Planning and Briefing
  • Actual Vulnerability and Threat Assessments in the field on venues used during the FTX's
  • Two-Man Protective Detail
  • Four-Man and Six-Man Protective "Diamond"
  • Advance Team Operations
  • Business, Home, Hotel, and Venue Security
  • Vehicle Motorcade Operations
  • Downed/Disabled Limo Recovery
  • "Driver-Down" 2-Man Vehicle Evac Drills
  • "Push Out" Evac Drills
  • Counter-Assault and Counter-Ambush Drills
  • Counter Assault Team Element
  • CAT Response and Responsibilities
  • Combat Tac-Med
  • Improvised Explosive Devices
  • Extensive Advanced Firearms Training
  • Practical FTX Scenarios
  • PT test (Physical Fitness Test)
  • Study of current high profile attacks
  • Legal issues in Lebanon with respect to protective details
